So I'm not sure if I told anyone, but last year when we went to Vegas right as we got in they offered us another stay for free. We decided to risk it and see if it was really free...all we had to do was sit through a short (and I do mean short) timeshare presentation. We went this past weekend, staying in the Luxor-which I don't think I'd recommend based on the rickety elevators and almost broken everything in the room. I'll admit it-I was pretty tempted to get the timeshares, they were really nice, but we ended up telling them (with very little argument from their side) that we couldn't afford it right now. They ended up taking us to this room and gave us another free cruise to the Bahamas. It's going to be the same line we took in February, so this time I think we'll upgrade the room (the other one we got says it's more for 1 person than 2-so we'll definitely need something bigger) and stay at the resort to make the trip longer and enjoy the island (they only do 2 day cruises on the ship so to make it longer you have to stay on the island-but who could argue that?). Honestly, though, who on earth wins 2 FREE cruises in a year, PLUS a free Vegas trip in the same year. We'll have 3 trips that we paid half (if not just 1/3rd) as much as we normally would've to take all of them! This definitely helps us save up for our wedding/honeymoon next year! I'm very excited about all of this.
Our trip was short but here are some pictures:

Larry reached 1234 miles on his new car. |
Oh and I don't think I mentioned Larry's new purchase:
He got himself a brand new 2013 KIA Rio. Since his car wouldn't last too long driving all the way to his work he wanted something with a lot better mileage. It's so cute, not my size, but so cute and he loves it. Unfortunately he got his first ticket driving home Sunday, he wasn't too pleased about it-we may need to paint the car so he won't be on their flags anymore.
As for wedding stuff, we will be doing our engagements on Aug 24th and possibly sending out Save The Dates sometime in September. I also found the lovely hotel I want to stay at for our Honeymoon, it's pretty and not too expensive for Larry so I'm pretty stoked to get that part done :) It's the part I think I care most about besides the photos! Other than that I'm just waiting on Jena and Skyler's wedding (which will be in 17 days now!!) to really start working on ours.
