Hey all, we are officially starting off the last month of the first half of the year AND it's summer time, which means I'm usually more motivated to get stuff done. Winter is just a downer time and I never want to leave the house, much less plan to do anything that
might take me out of my warm bubble. June is going to be a pretty busy one for us this year, just the luck of the draw though, no particular reasoning to it. So for my goals this month, we have the usual workout calendar:
I had to move things around and get rid of the rest day. I think having a rest day made it harder to be motivated to workout other days. Another thing I noticed is back in March, when I just had the abs challenge, it was easy to get home from work and tell myself that it's quick, just get it done and over with and then go on with your night. Some of the "new" workouts weren't exactly quick so it got harder to be motivated to do them. This month I've planned my longer workouts for days that I have more time (i.e. Fridays I can stay up a little later than usual so it
doesn't hopefully won't bother me to take more time on a workout). Unfortunately I'm writing this at 4 AM, I've been up since 1:30 ish because I'm not feeling the greatest so we'll see if I get to the treadmill today, maybe after a nap later today??
On top of the workouts, I've kind of been craving salads lately (which is weird because I normally HATE salads!) so I'm thinking this month I want to try a sort of "30 days of salads" thing for my lunches. Originally I wanted to see if I could find a new salad for each day, I've found a ton of recipes so far and I'm excited to try new and different once, but I'm not 100% positive I can find 30 different ones that I want to try, we shall see. I've got my first week set, I think I have poppy seed, BLT, Italian, Berry Delicious, and Potato Cobb for this week (it's only 5 so I may not get to them on the weekends).
Other things we have this month:
Our Dirty Dash race is on the 7th!! Eeek I'm So excited for this. I keep getting emails reminding me what's coming, I'm a little nervous, but so excited to cross this off my list. Good thing it isn't timed because my practicing running outside has just gone out the window and I'm sure I'll struggle a little bit.

We've kind of planned on taking anniversary photos on our first anniversary with our kind of original photographer (Jena V.). I've seen cute ideas of recreating photos on Pinterest and other blogs so I'm wanting to do that each year. It will be fun once we have kids and can expand the photos...we shall see if we can keep it up, but it's planned for this year so far.

I don't know why but I really wanted to go camping this year, so we'll be planning that for one weekend, not exactly sure which one yet, but I'm excited to cross that one off the bucket list. We've never been camping just us two, especially tent camping, so I found a place I think will be nice and hopefully it will be a fun experience.
The same crafts and fire kits are planned, but I'm not sure I'll get to them this month. It will probably be a Fall thing since I want to make the most of this summer time while I have the warm weather (you just never know when it will disappear in Utah)
