Happy News!

So we've had QUITE the change since my April update, so let me just update those points from that post:

• We have picked a condo, it's adorable and we absolutely love it. Right now we are working on getting into it as fast as possible. We've made an offer and they've accepted it so now we're waiting on the very slow credit union to get moving on it faster. I'm so excited and can't wait to upload pictures of this place once we get into it. It's SO spacious and has 3 bedrooms so we can have a guest room/future kids room in it in case we're stuck there for a while (which could very well be the case). I'm absolutely giddy about finally being on our own (hopefully in a month).

• I have finished the first two books in the Sword of Truth series and we've watched the Legend of the Seeker show to compare. When we first saw the show, before reading the books, we LOVED it. Now that we've read the books it's kind of cheesy. We still watch it and reading the books and coming together to talk about them is still my most favorite part of the day :)

• My Friday the 13th luck switched up, I found out that day I was called for Jury Duty, my case was interesting. The link is the basic story of what we were listening to each day for a week. While on jury duty I got a call from both jobs I had interviewed at, one was asking for a second interview (that was the part time one so I wasn't sure if I wanted to move forward on that one), the other message was from the other job (the one I REALLY wanted) offering me the job! I officially started May 7th (this past Monday) and I LOVE it so far! I'm so glad to be in a job like this and I'm going to be able to save quite a bit with it. I REALLY got lucky with it. Oh and the biggest plus? I can use it as my medical billing externship so once I can get my boss to email the instructor at SLCC I officially am certified through the school so yay!

• Larry is now the best man for his brother's wedding. We've both been pretty busy lately so helping plan hasn't been done by us for a while, I may need to use this weekend to fix that and get a good catch up schedule going. I love planning things :)

So far life is good, we've had a few minor bumps in the road the past few weeks, but I'm so excited with where things are going and I'm sure Larry could agree! Hoping this year really is as great as last year!
