Halloween 2016

So Halloween was both uneventful but also amazing this year! I'll say it was uneventful because I just couldn't get the motivation to put up any decorations. It's kind of sad because when we got this house I told Larry I couldn't wait to be "that" house with it when it came to holidays and decorating. I wanted to be like Mom and Will who have people asking if they can take pictures of their home because of how amazing it is!

Unfortunately I'd feel good enough during the week (for a brief moment) and tell Larry we'd go out that weekend to get decorations, but once the weekend actually hit I just wanted to die and lay down forever. I just couldn't get into the car and feel good and puking just plain sucks so I tend to avoid it if at all possible. Now that's not to say we didn't decorate at all. I did want to do pumpkins with Andy and Rachel so last weekend we got some, but we never got around to the carving part so they went onto the stairs and are now our Halloween/Thanksgiving decorations.

As far as costumes, I considered getting another onesie animal one for me (and Larry, if he wanted one too) since it was so comfy last year, but I realized too late that I didn't have time to order one. Luckily I found a cheap easy one I could do with the items in my closet and figured that would be good enough. Enter Damian from Mean Girls:

Luckily my costume was received VERY well at work! Everyone thought it was funny enough to enter into the contest my work has (for funniest costume, obviously haha), but I didn't feel I put in enough effort for that so I decided against it. Everyone dressed up on my team so it was great to get into the spirit that way! Plus I had an ultrasound this morning that made it sound like the hemorrhage was all cleared up and I shouldn't have to worry about it (it's a Halloween miracle! One I'd like to think my Papa might have had a hand in). So that was all great news and I got to eat lots of candy so yay!

Proof that we did actually get decorations

I got home in time to see kids starting with Trick-or-Treating already so I hurried and got inside, got the candy ready, and we waited. It didn't take long before we got our first and then they just kept coming. I had plans to watch a movie while handing out candy, but they came so often Larry and I just sat next to the front door waiting for the next ones. Unfortunately 6 PM is my cutoff so at that point I had to sit on the stairs and let Larry hand out the rest of the candy, but I've decided Halloween is the only time that I love all other kids! They are so cute and sweet and just want all the candy and I can relate to that haha. I'm just bummed I didn't get a picture of Larry and I in our costumes (for the first year I missed this...boo!). Larry just dressed in his convict old jumpsuit from this Halloween (it said DOC on the front so kids kept thinking he was Doc from Back to the Future...they need a refresher on that movie apparently!) so we didn't really coordinate or anything, it's okay though, we still looked decent (I would say good, but I'm pretty sure I still look like death haha)

We called it good around 7:45, we were almost out of candy and I really wanted to watch The Walking Dead before it got too late and I had to go to bed (or rather wanted to go to sleep before the sickness hit too strongly). We watched our episode and now I'm doing this.

But now my body is telling me it's time for bed so I hope everyone had a great Halloween and those close to him thought of Papa on his favorite holiday. Love you and miss you still sweet Papa!

12 Weeks

How far along? 12 Weeks (we've reached the lime stage)

Weight loss/gain? I think I'm giving up on this question haha

Maternity  Clothes? Still just the unbutton pants.

Sleep? I toss and turn a bit still, but I sure do sleep deeply. It's probably the best part of this whole thing.

Best moment of the week: Had my 12 week appointment with the dr today and everything was looking good. HR is 170s still. Happy to be at the good stage :) My brother also moved in this past weekend so it's nice to have another person in the house in case I need more juice haha.

Miss Anything? I guess the motivation to do things, but I'm just used to it at this point so I'm good.

Movement: Still just a tiny bit too early, but hopefully soon :)

Cravings/Aversions: I'm feeling like I could eat more, I'm getting an appetite back, when I'm not sick. I would LOVE a lunch meat sandwich though...can't wait to have that after the baby is here!

Gender: We don't know, and won't know until December, but maybe I'll go off of Old Wives Tales here so that I actually have a different answer and we can compare what's right. This one will be HR...the first one was low-er (123), but it's been consistently above 140 since then. Granted the next two were above 170, but I think that might have been the stress of the hemmorraghe. The next two were 150's. This says girl [or a really active boy ;)]

Labor Signs: Not even close and I hope to keep it that way.

Symptoms: Sickness, sleep, and hunger (a little bit)

Moods: Just call me couch potato.

Looking forward to: Getting to 13 weeks...just means we're one week closer to this feeling more real. I also can't wait to feel movement. I know it probably won't be for a while, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to try and see if I can feel something when I'm sitting still!

Our Newest (Temporary) Addition

So we got a new addition to our house hold this weekend:

My brother!

That's right! My brother has officially moved in with us! Funny story: one night back in mid August Larry was drinking and cleaning so I was hanging out watching him in the basement. Well my brother was texting me about how much he hated his current living situation, he was sick of being there, and wanted to find an apartment. Larry mentioned if he wanted to pay us rent he could come live with us so (thinking he was joking) I mentioned it to Andy as a joke. Well Andy really loved the idea and Larry said he was serious so we started working out the arrangements and what was expected. I know some people might think this is strange since we're still new to the home or sometimes money and family don't mix, but my brother have always been pretty close and very honest with each other. I knew I wouldn't have any issues with him living with us because if there were any issues him and I could tell each other about them.

Well after a few weeks and quite a bit of excuses I started to think he wasn't going to move in after all. I figured he decided his current situation wasn't the worst or maybe made other plans with his girlfriend so I just stopped asking him when he was renting a truck. Well imagine my shock when he text me this past week and said he'd have a truck on Saturday :O

Since I've been non stop sick and can't lift too much I decided to let him in on the pregnancy news then (he has probably been the most excited at this point, he actually thanked me for telling him and gave me a big hug when we saw him yesterday). It didn't take too long to get his stuff onto the truck, especially with it only being him and Larry, and we were able to get it to the house and unloaded just in time for him to get the truck back.

I think this will be such a good thing for Andy. I think he needs to be around family for a while and not someone who doesn't get him. Plus he's so hard to get a hold of I think it'll be good for my mom to have another way to get a message to him and know that he's okay since he's with us (and no longer in Kearns...sorry anyone from that area, but it's pretty sketchy!).

Anyways, that's our exciting new adventure. Other than sleeping and puking nothing else is really going on with me haha. BB is still going strong as you can see in the weekly posts. I'm probably not going to do much for Halloween at this point since we have no decorations up and I don't even want to think of going costume shopping (getting motion sickness really limits how much you can handle). Happy Fall everyone!!

11 weeks

How far along? 11 Weeks (a fig)

Weight loss/gain? I'm going with 123 at this point...whatever!

Maternity  Clothes? Still going with unbutton pants at this point. Belly sticks out so at least there's support there haha

Sleep? Kitties are really messing with me and get me stuck in on position for too long. Mostly Minnie loves to cuddle up near my face, but the other two cut off where my feet and legs can be. It's like they think I'm sharing my heaven! Other than that it's been great haha

Best moment of the week: Had another ultrasound on Monday...it was my favorite so far. BB's HR was 179 (I know that's good, but now I'm worried it's getting too high). The lady even switched to 4D and just let us watch for a minute. BB was wiggling and kicking around all over the place. It was weird to not feel a thing, but watching I sure made me tear up a little bit. I also had to let slip to Co-workers about the news. We had plans for Friday night that I'm not going to be able to keep (since I'm WAY too sick at nights) and so I couldn't think of an excuse any longer. They were all ready excited.

Looking more human like
Wish I could show how cute he/she was
Moving around like crazy

Miss Anything? Nope...I don't think we're decorating anytime soon. I get too sick in the car to go anywhere so I'm just going to be content with staying home at this point.

Movement: Still too early

Cravings/Aversions: Still sticking to cereal and applesauce, but now I'm LOVING Easy Mac. Used to think it was disgusting, now it's what I eat EVERY. SINGLE. DAY haha.

Gender: Won't know for a couple months still, but I'm getting excited for that

Labor Signs: Not even close.

Symptoms: Just sickness...and sickness. And sleep. That's all I feel these days haha.

Moods: Still just laziness. That's about it.

Looking forward to: I have my 12 week appointment with my actual dr next week so I'm looking forward to talking to her more about the whole SCH. They told me at the last U/S that it's actually growing, but they didn't show it to us and I didn't see it so I'm unsure what's all going on. I need clarity already!

10 Weeks

How far along? 10 Weeks...officially the longest I've been pregnant before...woot woot! (also the size of a kumquat)

Weight loss/gain? I swear our scale HAS to be broken. Some nights I'm up to 123, but then the next morning it's back to 121...UGH!

Maternity  Clothes? Nope. Wearing anything too tight bothers my stomach so I'm sticking to keeping my pants unbuttoned.

Sleep? Still getting butt cramps, but Larry gave me his lovely U pillow and I have this little heaven on earth in the bed. It's the best (when the kitty's share haha)

Best moment of the week: Just having the bleeding from the SCH stop! That seriously needs to be gone already!

Miss Anything? I'm kind of missing being able to do things. I have absolutely no energy for anything. I want to decorate for Halloween, but I just sleep and sleep right now. It's worth it, but I can't wait for May so I can feel normal again.

Movement: Still too early

Cravings/Aversions: Still sticking to cereal, spaghettio's, and applesauce.

Gender: Won't know for a few months still

Labor Signs: Not even close.

Symptoms: Same as before. I'm really hoping I'm not one of those that is sick the entire pregnancy, but I know we're still a few weeks away until were in the 2nd trimester.

Moods: Mostly lazy and still pretty antisocial. That's about it.

Looking forward to: Ultrasound on Monday, fingers crossed we get good news!

Oct 5, 2016

9 Weeks

How far along? 9 weeks (a little grape)

Weight loss/gain? Still around 121 ish...which is less than pre-pregnancy, but it's been my standard this whole time. I'm wondering if our scale is broken haha

Maternity  Clothes? I started to wear a pair Stacey gave me and Oh...Em...Gee those things are so comfy! I don't need them, but it's nice to have them just in case.

Sleep? Sleep is great, but I get cramps in my butt cheeks that are not my favorite haha. The kitties also love to cuddle all over me.

Best moment of the week: The best was also the worst this week. On the 30th I had my first bleed from the SCH. It was really scary and so we went into the hospital. I thought for sure they were going to give us bad news and could not stop crying. Well they took us back finally and showed us BB doing GREAT with a heart rate of 176 (WHOA from the 120 from our first appointment!!). They told me the SCH appeared to be healing up a bit now. They also had me go in to the lab to get my blood drawn and I got SO sick afterwards, in fact I was sick really bad that whole weekend, and then my levels were SOO high it was insane. So things are looking really good!

Little BB

Miss Anything? Absolutely nothing. The sickness was rough, and it's still a little there, but I'm sleeping it off most of the time and I'm just so happy that BB is doing good there's nothing I could ask for right now except for the SCH to go away.

Movement: Still too early

Cravings/Aversions: Still sticking to cereal, spaghettio's, and anything apple flavored (apple cheerios, apple sauce, etc.)

Gender: Won't know for a few months still

Labor Signs: Not even close.

Symptoms: Same as before.

Moods: There have been a couple days where I worry about my body changing and if it'll ever go back. I know it's irrational, but I really freak out and wonder if I can do this to the end. But the next day I feel perfectly fine and wonder where those feelings came from...that's been loads of fun haha.

Looking forward to: Well my ultrasound was moved to the 17th so I guess I'm looking forward to that now haha. I also can't wait to have a big belly...I SO look forward to that!
