Wicked!

When I saw Wicked in New York with Stace I knew, KNEW, I had to take see it again and take as many women as I knew (mostly because I didn't think any guy I knew would be into it as much). So when we found out last year that Wicked was coming to Utah this year, Mom, Rachel, and I jumped on tickets!!

We got tickets SO far in advance, that I when I showed up to Mom's with Gwen and Cara and my mom gave me a look like she was worried and told me she didn't get a ticket for Gwen because I only told her Cara, I HUGE facepalmed! I could've sworn I had told her both of the older girls (I don't think Lucy could sit still long enough for this one and I don't think she'd understand the show or appreciate it as much).

We had to scramble, but we ended up finding a last minute ticket (NOT cheap!) for the same show. Unfortunately, it was in a whole different section so I called Rachel up to explain what happened and asked her if she'd be willing to do half the show in the other section and I'd take it for the other part of the show (we'd switch at Intermission). She DEFINITELY wasn't pleased, I could tell (she didn't say so, but you could really tell she was upset we did that). I felt terrible, but at least this way we could all go together still.

The show was amazing, it wasn't exactly as I remembered it from New York, but the girls and Mom really liked it and they are now excited they know the music when they hear it on the radio (which is truly the best part of this show!). No matter how good the show is, I always bawl at the end when they come out and bow, I'm not sure why, but it always makes me tear up haha.

Afterwards, we walked over to City Creek planning on having Cheesecake Factory for an early dinner, but it ended up being SUPER packed so we walked over to the food court, instead. Gwen wanted Chik Fil A and Cara wanted McDonald's (that's the benefit of a food court, everyone gets to choose whatever they want).

When we got home, I decided to order a cannoli and a raspberry eclair from a local bakery (the one I wanted to go to on Mother's Day, but couldn't at that point) because I had been craving one (the cannoli) since New York so I was so excited to finally get one. It wasn't that great, unfortunately. The one we got in New York was from the "Cannoli King" from some reality food show, so I guess there's a reason he won because his really were amazing! That was a bummer, but it's fine now.
