Been a while

So..It's been a little while, other than taking care of vacation details (less than a month left now!!) I've been super busy with work and school.

I have to start with how excited I was to receive some awards in my medical terminology course:

I got these from taking the final and not only passing the course, but getting 100% on the final. I was really excited because I ended up taking a week off from the class to go out to Indiana, and while missing the time was SO worth it, I ended up having to learn the 300 terms in half the time scheduled, so in two weeks instead of four. It got a little rough, but I had so much fun and enjoyed the class so much that it didn't feel like an impossible challenge, but still a challenge.

I have to say it's been so nice having these classes, some of them (ahem, Anatomy) give me HUGE struggles and almost made me contemplate quitting, but I know that when I finish it'll be so much more worth it to have my new path laid down for me. So now that I'm done with one vacation and getting ready for the other I'm back to working 6 days a week (yay) and being able to celebrate the MANY babies that are coming (must be the "season" or something, eh?). I've been having a blast shopping for the soon-to-be mommies, never really knew I'd like that kind of shopping, but it really has been fun. I've still got a couple showers coming up that I'm excited about and are definitely helping with my personal milestone countdown till our vacation at the end of August.

I started the medical coding, English, and Medisoft (a computer software for medical facilities used to bill and schedule patients and stuff like that) classes this month, they've been pretty interesting.

Larry has finished his first semester back in college, he took a math and English course for the summer, all of it is online since he's doing the Cochise College he did in Arizona during his military training, luckily with his training he only had to pay $50 and they gave him the credits he would've earned whether he paid at all (only, because he paid he actually gets the credits) so that's been helpful since he earned quite a bit. He should be able to get a degree in electronics and computers, so that should help out a lot for when he needs to find a new job. I'm really proud of him, his instructors weren't easy on him at all, but he still did what he needed to to pass.

We did do a trip to Lagoon last weekend, I'm really trying to do stuff on Sundays to keep our summer fun, unfortunately not a lot is open Sunday so it's been interesting to see what we can squeeze in. We're hoping to do another trip sometime and do the Catapult, I'm so excited and hopeful we really will do it this summer, it's one of those I'm always saying I want to do, but never end up doing it.

I did get some good news recently, my brother, Andy, will be coming home sometime in August/September, for a WHOLE entire month! I'm so excited to see him! When he left I never thought I'd miss him this much. He seems to have developed a lot of a new personality while he's been away, so I definitely want to see the kind of man he's become while he's been away. We're talking about taking him to Wendover (since we missed his 21st birthday) and Lagoon and whatever, I can't wait to see him and give him crap (I am his sister still) ha ha. Since he's been in Mongolia we get very little communication with him so we're trying to find out as much as we can, but it definitely takes patience to wait to hear from him.

So that's all the update I have for July, until I actually have a life (but don't hold your breath on that one yet :P) ...
