Springing into April

So April (and, supposedly, Spring) has started. I don't have a real post to put, so I thought I'd just do a little catch up. If you look back at last year, like I did, you can see April is clearly a ho-hum month for Larry and me. So here goes what we've done since last time:
  • We have picked up house hunting again. We have to do the whole thing under my name which means we don't have the biggest budget to work with and so we've broadened our search to condos and townhomes. We looked at one tonight and I think it's close to perfect, Larry thinks we should look around a little more (I do have a tendency to think something is perfect, get it, then wish I had looked around more). I'm hoping we can get the looking done real quick so we can pick one and get started on buying our first home together!.
  • I have recently started "The Sword of Truth" book series. The show we started forever ago, Legend of the Seeker, is based on these books. Larry is on his second round with the books and, somehow, convinced me to read them with him so we can talk about them. One of his more brilliant ideas, if I do say so. I love talking to him every night about how romantic and exciting the books are. I do recommend them!
  • Although today is Friday, the 13th and that's usually a lucky date for me, today has stopped that record from continuing. Looking forward to Saturday, the 14th already!
  • I've gone on a couple interviews, but to no avail. One I thought I wanted, but was only part time so it wouldn't have worked out. One I REALLY wanted and would have loved to get, I'm still going to try and see if I can work my way into the company. While I love my current job, most days at least, I want one that will allow me to work from home. Credit Unions don't allow that, unfortunately. We'll see what ends up happening. I've never been one for the motto if it's meant to be, it'll happen, but lately with job hunting that's the attitude I've taken to it since it's too much pressure to keep thinking I'm failing by not getting these jobs.
  • Larry and I have been working to help plan his brother's wedding. Although Larry isn't best man (I am Maid of Honor though), we still seem to go a lot of places together to help them. I'm excited to see how this wedding gets pulled together. While I constantly think of what it'd be like to plan my own wedding, this doesn't make me feel to be in a hurry to get started ha ha.
That's about all that's happened for the second half of March and first half of April. But with how this next week is rolling out I'm thinking I might have a couple more posts in April, nothing TOO exciting, but something worth posting to me. I think we need to start planning another vacation or something soon :)
